Pets and Virtual Tours
Staging Virtual Tours and Pets (edit/delete) I recently read a blog about Staging for Virtual Tours from Morgan Makowski of Real Tour Vision. This is an excellent source of information for making the best of each tour. It brought to my mind one of our recent projects. What do you do if you show up for a photography shoot and the owner has a pet? Recently my husband was shooting a virtual tour of a new home for a custom builder. The home was vacant. The owner showed up for the shoot, had his dog with him and let him roam the house while we were shooting. Throughout the shoot he had to tell the owner to move the dog or take him into another room. After doing this several times the owner said "Don't worry about it, it is OK if the dog is in the shot". In the end, it was not "OK" that the dog was in the photo and it took quite a bit of extra time to "remove" the dog and still maintain the integrity of the photos. What is the proper etiquette thing to do? LisaCastro
